Metal Planet II (1979) is from acclaimed space artist David A Hardy’s book Galactic Tours. It is the thematic sister painting to Metal Planet which was inspired by the planet Trantor in Asimov’s Foundation, and foreshadowed the Death Star in Star Wars.
