I'm Martin, guitarist for All India Radio and Steve Kilbey/Martin Kennedy, sci-fi & Pink Floyd fan, artist and tragic archivist. Most of these images are scanned from sci-fi magazines and books I've been collecting for the last million years.
I read this book as a wide eyed adolescent and I was completely sucked into the incredible UFO world of George Adamski, believing every word he wrote. These days his ‘flying saucer’ photos appear hopelessly inept and his writing plain silly. The success of Adamski’s book fed into the UFO hysteria of the 50s and 60s with every Tom, Dick and Harry throwing things into the air and photographing them (realising they can make real money writing books about it). But despite all this, Adamski’s tales of alien visitors still have a nostalgic hold on me.
