This scene, from the Space 1999 episode Missing Link, is my favourite alien ‘vista’ in the entire series. It is a rather nice matte painting. I don’t know who the artist is. Oddly it wasn’t used in full in the episode, but was instead partially obscured behind ‘lens fog.’ Why you’d commission this wonderful painting and not use it is beyond me.
